Labor Rebate Benefit in the frame of the SunPower Advantage Program
As an end customer located in a country where the Program has been deployed, if you purchase your SunPower Modules from an Advantage Installer in that country, you will get access to an additional warranty service called the “Labor Rebate”.* This Labor Rebate is separate from our limited product warranties, is exclusively applied in those countries and only covers warranty claims on PV modules installed by an Advantage Installer holding a valid certificate at time of installation as proof of its belonging to the Advantage Installer program.
As part of that Labor Rebate, SunPower will pay to the Advantage Installer a stipend covering a portion of your service/labor costs related to the replacement of a panel installed on your PV solar system if that panel has failed under warranty.
This additional warranty service helps you offset your service/labor costs related to such replacement. So far the list of applicable countries includes Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Portugal and Spain.

How do solar systems work?
A photovoltaic (PV) solar system is comprised of solar panels, racks for placing the panels on your roof, electrical wiring and an inverter. From sunrise to sunset, the solar panels generate electricity (DC) which is sent to an inverter. The inverter converts the DC electricity into alternating current (AC), which is the type of electricity required for household use. The AC power is delivered directly to your home’s main electrical service panel for use by you and your family.
